A Bible Study program in a remote village in Liberia has recently come to completion.

BTCP’s partner ministry, Faith and Deeds launched their program right after the Ebola crisis in Liberia, and were met with much enthusiasm. Special lectures attracted as many as twelve people, with six constant students. Even through immense personal obstacles, family issues, and community challenges, three of those six students stayed disciplined to finish all ten of their courses.

The graduates, Pastor William Kweinah, Pastor Joseph Saybeh, and Sis. Oretha Vahwulu completed their training ready to move forward in service to Christ equipping and teaching others.

Special thanks is expressed to the two guest speakers who used their gifts to instruct the graduates: Rev. Dr. Eral Lewis and Rev. Dr. Lincoln Brownell. Lewis was the president of Fairview Bible College in Jamaica and he taught the course "Preaching Biblical Messages and Pastoral Ministry". Brownell had been the president of the Liberia Baptist Theological Seminary and taught "Bible Doctrine Study".

Dr. Frank Gainer from Indiana, USA encouraged the students as guest speaker during the graduation and in attendance at the graduation were the president of the Liberia International Christian College, Dr. Nuwoe-James Kiamah, along with members of the Association of Independent Baptist Churches: the African Fundamental Baptist Mission and the Soul-Winners Conference. All came together to celebrate with the graduates.

Please pray for the graduates as they move forward into the next stages of their walk with Christ and give praise to God for their successful completion of the course amid great difficulties!
