Blessings to all in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ!
We are back in Kenya, having arrived home late Friday night after 23 days, 6,673 km. (4,171 miles) traveling through four countries, Kenya, Tanzania, Malawi and Zambia (see attached detailed Google Map). We are rejoicing as we reflect at what the Lord has done and His great help on this mission. All the prayer requests that we made before we left on May 14th were answered — to God be all the glory! THANK YOU for your prayers and support for this most fruitful mission (the longest mission outreach in 8 years).
Our team is blessed as we review our journey of seven Bible School Presentations to 350+ pastors, church leaders and potential students — in Mbeya, Lilongwe, Blantyre, Nakonde, Iringa, Morogoro and Singida (see attached map & pix). We did five BTCP Teacher Training Workshops, qualifying 27 new teachers. Four new Bible training classes (BTCP) have already begun in Mbeya, Tanzania and Lilongwe and 2 in Blantyre, Malawi. 320+ students signed up for 2 year Bible Training. Our team did 4 Evangelism trainings with Outreaches and 110 gave their lives to Christ, 8 were Muslims. We shared more than 500 tracts, gave out over 150 Foundation Course books to pastors and church leaders so they can immediately begin to disciple the new believers and prepare their students for the intense 2-year BTCP training ahead of them.
We left two very dedicated Ugandan brothers that have been trained and equipped, in our son Isaac’s School of Ministry, to do follow up in all of this work with a good church in Dodoma, Tanzania. John and Mike will be in our prayers as they fill this commission and trust God for direction, wisdom and provision. We will be praying for our most hospitable Tanzanians, most warmhearted Malawians and most peaceful and loving Zambian brothers and sisters.
We hope to return again soon to these beautiful lands and peoples, the Lord willing. We have invitations from many pastors and overseers to go into the heart of Mozambique and the surrounding nations. Truly, the harvest is plentiful but the laborers are so few!
We appreciate all who corresponded with and prayed for us on this mission — you were a great encouragement and a vital lifeline to us along the way.
We love you. God bless you.
